The technology of the process.
The favourable outcomes of the sanitization method through aerosol can be summarised as follows:
- The aerosol dispersion of liquid spherules in a gaseous carrier is neither wetting nor wettable as the microscopic size of the dispersed state lends it a paradoxical dryness. Since the 0,5-1 micron aerosol particle possesses high surface tension, the resulting elastic film turns the particle into a sort of miniscule bouncing ball.
- The sanitization action is enhanced achieving excellent abatement of bacterial and viral count.
- From the point of view of cellular chemistryphysics, the bacteria get electrostatically charged with a positive charge towards the periphery. For maximum effectiveness the Microsol Gamma was designed in such way that the microparticles of the active substance, instead, are given a negative electrical charge thus boosting the attraction and contact with the micro-organic particles, hence their neutralization.
Practically speaking, using Microsol Gamma means:
- Significantly higher abatement of bacterial and viral count on surfaces and in suspension.
- Lower sanitization costs.
- Lower harmful effects of the various disinfectants.
- Lower cost of personnel utilised for the sanitization of the premises.
As explained above, the dry aerosol sanitization method Steroxy does not wet and damage the surfaces and allows a safe, continuous, low-cost process and staff can return into the treated premises within a short time.

Built by High Tec srl.
For over a decade High Tec srl, has built and marketed with the trademark Steroxy the thermal aerosol generator called Microsol Gamma. Years of research and development led to this integrated system for dry sanitization and disinfestation, based on the use of dry haze solutions in dynamic state (as opposed to static solutions in liquid state).
